RATES/LEGAL FEES
Fees for Attorney Services (Mediations, Agreed Dissolutions, Prenuptial Agreements, and Guardianships)
Kathleen charges $280.00 per hour for attorney services and $125.00 per hour for paralegal services. Because of their service to our communities, she offers a (10%) ten percent discount to the following: law enforcement officers, teachers, state employees, and active-duty service members. There is a (2) two hour minimum for mediation services.
Fees for Estate Planning Services
After making your first appointment, you will complete the Estate Planning Questionnaire that describes what pertinent details and documents to bring to the initial consultation. Accompanying this document is a Client Document List that we suggest you bring with you at our first meeting. During your initial consultation, Kathleen will assess your situation, determine your objectives and present cost-effective solutions. At that time, Kathleen will give you a clear idea of fees and pricing for legal work that she recommends for your circumstances. Estate planning matters are charged on a flat fee basis.
For parishioners of Catholic/Christian churches, Kathleen offers a free 30-minute consultation and she will meet you at your residence at no additional cost. Additional time spent beyond the consultation will be billed at her regular hourly rate.
Family Law
Kathleen represents clients in divorces, annulments, and child custody matters. Kathleen strives to work collaboratively with the opposing side to resolve issues in your case.
